Now this concept applies in 3 very distinct cases:

1. Your sense of humor was formed on the internet.. You're funny but not to normies, they wouldn't get it or it would be too awkward to say irl.

2. You're very funny but you're either anxious or have spoken irl to actual people so little that when you open your mouth irl your mouth doesn't really properly say what your brain is thinking, so it doesn't come out nearly as funny as you imagined.

3. You spent your entire life on the English-speaking internet, but you're not from an English-speaking country. So you have no sense of humor in your native tongue, it's all in English but that's useless irl.

I'm #2, but the difference is the people that I get more comfortable with I could make laugh easily when growing up. Was usually just other nerds and incels. Would say more but rather not get some warning for some sort of brag as I have no clue what's considered bragging.

Well, I only talk to my parents and I don't really joke with them that much, just a little. But I know I have a sense of humor cause I always talk to myself in my head, making funny remarks/observations to myself.

most of the time when i hangout with people, they're either not nice, or if they are nice our hangouts are extremely infrequent, like somehow we never end up together again (popular people are told where the new hangout or whatever is, less popular people aren't)
