And this isn't even a ''the person who enters a room must initiate the greeting'' thing. Even just coming across another person in a hallway, for example, I remember having to say ''hello'' first or else they would ignore me...

Happend to me i was always the first one to say hello and when i noticed it i stopped to sey if they would say it to me first next time, we never talked again. Felt very bad

Lol i work in retail lol, so whenever im slaving away and having to serve customers, my interaction depends on them. If its in the early morning, i'll usually serve old guys who are about to die and they usually say hi anyways so theyre cool. The rest i dont bother lol. I have realised as an incel, i always have to compensate and make it up to those who are in the presence of my shitty ass appearance, but fuck that. I'm not making it up to anyone when it isnt my fault i exist. Especially when i get foids who come up to the till, i purposely blank them. I'll try my absolute hardest to not look at them and i dont even bother using manners or greeting them. I dont owe them shit, fuck all that gentlemen approach
