The shopping store near my Uni is packed with uni students, but I can bring myself to use the checkout tills because then I'd have to interact with someone (alot of the times it's a foid that ignores my existences).

I used to dread these situations too, I don't know exactly when but I just stopped caring and became very low inhib by comparison.
Nowadays if I'm doing some shopping, my priority is to just get out as fast as possible so I go to the shortest line, being around people is annoying.

When the store offers it, I ALWAYS use self-checkout because then I can keep my earbuds in and continue listening to music or podcasts or whatever. I hate having to take my earbuds out to greet a femoid or one of those poor guys (most probably incels) who have to work as cashiers now.
