Bad short term memory is a sign of ADHD. So is short attention span. Names are hardly remembered, much less numbers. I had to deal with this myself. While my normie friends studied minutes before a test and did well on it, I either studied hard for it or I blew it.

I also have to study minutes before tests otherwise I'll just forget everything.

Well on the bright side, I can read long books over and over again and still be entertained by them

Its the opposite for me , I remember so much thing, even very minor things that holds nothing significant
