It's normal. You don't stand even the slightest chance in a real-time debate if you don't have your talking points memorized and rehearsed ahead of time. If this happens to you even with small talk, that sucks, but anyone can slow down, draw out syllables, use shorter words, and use filler words like "um", "like", "er", et cetera. Nobody will notice or care because everyone does it.
I realize a lot of you are such socially stunted shut-in autists that you think real-life "NT's" are super-clear and concise in their speech because they are in fiction. If that's you, then you need to realize fiction has to obey the law of conservation of detail, which means dialogue can't be 100% realistic. In fact, exactly how realistic dialogue is in fiction depends heavily on the work's genre, tone, and writing style. You need to go out in the real world and eavesdrop on real people to see how woefully inefficient real-life speech is, especially in 2020 where everyone has their noses stuck onto their phones and don't get nearly as much practice talking face to face as they did decades ago.
