I'm aware of the cultural meme of meeting a girl at a bar and many people act like my only problem is that I need to meet women, however even when asking about how to meet women I have never been told to go to a bar, I have been told to join groups for hobbies I have no interest in, and told to walk aimlessly in the wilderness, but nobody has ever given me the advice of trying to go a bar or a pub and I take that as an implicit acknowledgement that they know I have zero sex appeal.
