Yes you should always explain your circumstances in a positive and simplified light. Don't let them know you're struggling with things.
Normies say they admire someone who came on top after years of struggle, but the opposite is true. The vast majority of successful people I know have had things relatively easy for them, due to a combination of decent looks and extraversion.
