Is anyone else mentally disconnect when in public, thinking about something else rather than your enviorment?

Yes, i daydream about the incel revolution

and i scan the enviornment for an ass to look at

More of an ADHD symptom than an incel trait

I don't go in public

no im hyper aware of my surroundings instead

That's the thing though i don't have adhd (tested), i guess i get sometimes exhausted from reality i prefer to be elsewhere mentally.

But i could see where that comes from.

I often start daydreaming while walking.

I usually just daydream about hero stories/incel stories

ye but i became more paranoid of my surroundings after the mental facility incident which ruined it for me in that respect

Its a natural reaction of your body trying to protect you. It only goes away if you rationalise that you are no longer in danger at the moment.

i try to go out for a breather but most days i let it get to me. daydreaming in public is nice though

I won't give you a bluepilled advice like: "just let it go and forget it happend"

from my experience, doing something productive and having accomplishments (no matter how small) restores your confidence slowly over time.

But if you sometimes get lost in your thoughts ithat is also okay and natural, just try and not let it take over your life.

wow that hits close to home.. i definitely agree, if there’s anything at all to clutch onto, you should attempt to grasp it for dear life

I hope thing will get better for you brocel, believe in yourself first and foremost.

Hold on to it, but just don't put all your expectations and happiness on one thing. Because if it will fall apart, even for reasons beyond your control - it will devastate you.

You probably know this, but im reminding myself as well.

thanks, i really have nothing going for me and because i know this i don’t want to place many expectations and try to feel thankful for it but yeah one trigger or a bunch of similar triggers can send me to spiral. reminders as one acute subconsciousness temporarily save lives due to the unknown and things that are beyond our control/mental fortresses

Try to set some realistic goals for yourself, it will help - to a degree.

Like learning to cook one meal per week, by the end of year you will have 52? meals you know how to cook.

I haven’t left the house in years

I daydream about some kind of magical interference in our realm, so our world gets invaded by monsters & mythical creatures, and some people gain magical powers.
And i often imagine myself as a most powerful magic induced human, but i don't use it to do almost anything. Just observing as always, not as powerless meek but as someone, who could end the anthropocene when pissed off.
