Yesterday i tried buying a laptop for business purposes that was on 20% sale online. I thought "this is a great deal" and drove to their store. But they don't allow cash payments for items on sale and you have to wait for a laptop to arrive from their central warehouse, which could take weeks. Also EE stores are notorious for not delivering items on time or lying. So i pulled out my shitty debit card and said that i will pay with a card but an older foid told me it's not possible, and asked me to present her my ID card (!) along with my credit card which i refused.
Because i'm a small business owner a bank already takes their share on transactions and the government is taking around 35% of all of my earnings.
Another one:
Tried to buy a mediocre TV directly from Alibaba and their supplies, order was stuck for two weeks until i threatened with law action and they reluctantly gave me my money back.
