Incel trait: at family reunions, no one gives a fuck what you've been up to

I'm spending some time in my home state and staying until the 4th of July weekened. I have a Chad Latino cousin visiting from another state, his dad came along, and a few other family members and friends of the family got together to catch up. While everyone was catching up with each other, I only got the most superficial questions (for the record, I live the furthest from everyone), answers along the lines of "that's cool" and then everyone moves on to hang out with each other, being loud latinos who only want to play music and get drunk (zero interest in my nerdy life choices). But thats because I'm a sub-5.

This is a no brainer, but how are you guys treated in a big group? Not great, I assume, and mostly ignored

“Have you finally got a girlfriend yet?” is the question I always dread the most when seeing my family.

And of course the answer’s always no, and it’ll be that way until I die. I don’t even know why they keep bothering to even ask anymore.
