This is more of an autism trait really tbh, autistic kids can’t fit in with NT kids and are more likely to be quiet and to themselves and or prefer the company of adults which can come off as more mature than other kids.

And autistic hyperfixations can be mistaken as high intelligence by those who don’t know about autism.

Yep, heard it all the time exacerbated because I always had good grades. I don't believe I've ever been smart, I just have great memorization skills, which is useless.
