Drama fades when you abstain, solitude brings the clearest gain. Chasing desire can end in pain, guard your soul and you’ll remain. Love’s allure can often decay, freedom is safer, come what may. Better alone than broken apart, protect your peace, preserve your heart.

I hope my poetry has given some happiness to whoever’s reading this… be happy with solitude… your own company is the best person to be around except some close family. Don’t let others define you. Be who you are don’t let people get you down it’s a reflection of them not you. Enjoy any happiness and moments with close family or maybe friends. Avoid negativity. Please everyone share your poems in this thread.

Thank you @Satan666

Beneath the veil, deceit will bloom, A siren’s call that seals your doom. Her touch is fire, her kiss a chain,
Escape the lure, avoid the pain.
Alone you walk, yet free you stand, Your soul untamed, by none command.

Behind the smile lies the knife, trust no charm, protect your life.

Thank you, I love poetry.

I remember what a revelation it was when I realized that T.S. Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" was about an incel.

"And I have known the arms already, known them all—
Arms that are braceleted and white and bare
(But in the lamplight, downed with light brown hair!)
Is it perfume from a dress
That makes me so digress?
Arms that lie along a table, or wrap about a shawl.
And should I then presume?
And how should I begin?

Shall I say, I have gone at dusk through narrow streets.
And watched the smoke that rises from the pipes
Of lonely men in shirt-sleeves leaning out of windows?...

I should have been a pair of ragged claws
Scuttling across the floors of silent seas."
