So I decided not to buy a condo because I am too poor to qualify for much. And what I can qualify for would make things very extremely tight. However I can rent. The frustrating thing is that rent is expensive and apartments go quick. Today I went for a long walk around a neighborhood I would like to live in and jotted down the name of several apartments that looked appealing to me. One particular I really liked. I’m thinking of calling to see if they have a wait list so they can contact me once one comes available. Hopefully I will be in my own place by end of summer.

That is great advice that I expected to follow in the future. However I can’t afford to buy anything in this area, and also I don’t even see myself staying in this state. I want to move 1,000 miles away in the next couple years. The new city I move to is where I would like to buy.

One of the apartments I saw on my walk really appealed to me. It’s at the top of my list. There is another apartment in a small nearby town I’m on the waitlist for, rent is not bad and is in a quiet white area.

There are a couple other complexes in a close small town I am open to as well. I just don’t want to move somewhere and pay all that rent in a place I don’t love. Wish me luck I’ll keep you posted.

I called today and asked if they have a wait list and the Stacy on the phone said no. She was very unhelpful. I said um ok, well is the best way to find open units to just check the website frequently. She said yes it’s updated every day. It was like she could see how ugly i am over the phone.
