In some ways, it's "ok" to have "beauty standards"

If they can have standards, why can't we?

If they don't want me anyway, no matter how they look, why can't I imagine having a pretty gf.

I won't get a gf anyway, so, go big or go home. If I imagine a girlfriend, she is kind but also not ugly.

Maybe social media and porn have fried my brain, but I just think I don't want an ugly gf, then I'd rather have none -- again, ugly ones wouldn't date me anyway.

Of course in my sexual imaginations I often imagine beautiful women, but in the few sexual dreams (so where I cannot 'decide' what to dream), the women I dream of are usually ugly and sometimes even hairy ... I think my brain knows that i I would ever get a girlfriend, she would look like it. (And they are purely sexual, so it's not even that I dream of someone smart, kind and amazing who just happens to be ugly, they are e.g. strippers and still ugly)

I admire your attitude and I'm not joking. It's great to not care about looks. But try as I might, at the moment, I can't, I am too stubborn for my own good; not on purpose.
