Two people were killed and five others injured in a shooting at a gymnasium in Bryansk, Russia. It was staged by an eighth-grade girl. At the end, the girl shot herself.
According to RIA Novosti, the shooting took place in gymnasium No. 5. The law enforcers immediately cordoned off the building and evacuated all schoolchildren.
Local media initially reported two dead and four wounded schoolchildren as a result of the shooting, which the schoolgirl organized with her father's gun.
Later, the Bryansk department of the Interior Ministry reported that three people were injured as a result of the school shooting. The department confirmed that the student who had opened fire had committed suicide.

The girl entered the classroom when the class had already started. Other schoolchildren, hearing the shooting, barricaded themselves in classrooms, locker rooms and toilets.
After the shooting, all students were evacuated from the Bryansk school, the building was cordoned off by the police.
