Anti-immigration activists predicted the UK would go to shit with mass immigration. But that hasn't really happened. Another prediction 20 years ago was that all the immigrants would vote left wing, but the country has actually pushed right. In the UK the Conservatives came to power in 2010 and still there in 2022.

Yet another prediction was that Britain would lose its culture. But Britain's culture has been strengthening. A mistake of anti-immigrant activists imo would be to think that the immigrants would not adopt Britain's culture, ways and beliefs, and that the immigrants wouldn't be patriotic.
