By not voting it doesn't mean others won't. Yeah it's not as potent as advertised meaning in the US the elecotral college still has the final say. But by not voting, you are in effect letting others have more of a voice in the political process and allowing them to make the decision for you instead of also putting in your input.

In Chadstralia voting is compulsory. You have to turn up to at least get your name marked off but then you can submit a blank ballot, voting for no one. If you put that effort to go to vote, you might as well vote though. I voted for the Liberal Party last time because Labor Party went super sjw with gender quotas.
