If you are truly ugly, you don't feel the need to put it out there to the world.
If you are, you are either doing it because you are doubtful of that, or because you are fishing for pity compliments (Or in some cases, real compliments, because you weren't ugly to begin with).
My grandma and aunt do the "You are literally the most beautiful man on earth" meme to me constantly, and I always completely ignore them, because I know I look like a pedophile, and women my age, humiliated me or completely ignored me.
When I was 18, and they were 18. 20, 20. 23, 23.
And I won't look for pity for that, because I don't want it. It will be dishonest compliments.

If you have to ask that you're ugly, you probably aren't. Ugly people know that they're ugly. Most people who post on r/amiugly are average looking and are depressed that they don't look like chads and stacies.
