I am scared that the older I get them more likely I will become an incel. I am 27 and have never been in a relationship or even been on a date. I know that this will not change and I have accepted that. However, every time I hear a story of a woman dating someone who does something bad (no matter how minor) I will unintentionally think about how I would never do the same thing (even though in reality I am sure I would). I also know that it is in no way anyone but my own fault that I will always be single, however sometimes I question why that is.

I have no trouble with platonic relationships with women but often develop minor crushes on them due to loneliness. Also being a nurse I work with and take care of everyone regardless of any factors.

I definitely don’t hate women but I am worried that at some point a switch will just flick and I will start blaming all women for me being single. I get very jealous of anyone in relationships or people having sex. It is that jealousy I am scared will trigger the switch being flicked.



If I somehow get to 60-70 without becoming an incel then I can’t see how I will not be seen as a creepy old man.
