I'm so glad I stopped viewing streamers and quitted addictive vidya

I am so glad I got rid of that cancer.
I was very addicted to twitch for like a year, I had some favourite streamers...but realized it's all bullshit, you basically watch another person play a videogame? and you can't say anything remotely politically incorrect or you'll be banned in no time. I am sure twitch and streaming in general has been successful because there are so many lonely men out there.
I was also very addicted to shitty freemium games like clash royale or clash of clans, that shit is bullshit, you start playing for fun but after a while you just enter the game in order to open the "daily reward" which is only a method to keep you hooked to that shit.

Now I entertain myself with pirated games, emulation games (with a normal laptop you can emulate up to ps2/gamecube, and you can buy a good peripheral controller), or even pay for the game if it's worth it and doesn't have any in-game purchases. I also download pdf books free from a good site and if I want to watch a movie or show I just open my p2p software and start downloading.

Stop playing mainstream games and stop viewing streamers they don't deserve getting payed for playing.

Yeah I've been using twitch since 2014 but only got properly into streamers in 2017, I just have nothing better to do. And I don't play videos games myself often because I lack energy for anything that requires mechanics or me focusing on the storyline. I only play phone gacha games, used to play league tho

Sometimes i hop on my old gaming pc and play gta 4, left 4 dead 2, and some other online fps games from when i was younger

I really like to watch some YouTube Gameplays of Minecraft. Games today is to make yourself hooked on. I got me playing typing races today on keybr and i do 30 minutes of typing everyday.

That's what I do. I have a gaming PC that i emulate PS2 and PS1 games on. Also have a Nintendo DS emulator on my phone

In the US relative to peoples incomes games are pretty cheap. Like a super hardcore gamer who bought 12 games for $100 each in a year, that is $1,200. Which sounds like a lot until you realize in my city 1 months rent of a 1 bedroom apartment is like $2,000.
