Measured myself (daytime height) and I’m 5’6.5 barefoot and 5’9 with lifts + shoes. Always thought I was at least 5’7 jfl

I would honestly get rid of your lifts, those few inches don't really make a difference. I would say if you were already average height or pushing past 6 feet then maybe, but going from below to average ain't worth it

Why? Wouldn't appearing short still be worse than appearing average height?

There’s no disadvantage of them. You don’t even feel them in your shoes after the first day. If anything I’m thinking of upgrading to two inch ones
