I really don't care. Western gaming has never been that good. Play a Western game from the 90s or 2000s and most have aged absolutely terribly. Compare Rare Ware games to Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time; or God of War to Ninja Gaiden and DMC.


There's very few western games I ever enjoyed. Japan will always be superior. It's more of a shame that Japanese games are being dumbed down for the west.

Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time

Retarded nostalgia bias both aged like shit, played recently OoT and it played horribly and dropped it after 30mins. You can say that about vast majority of early 3d games no matter if western or eastern games.

F-Zero GX and Metroid Prime 1 (made by westerners anyway) aged much better than any other 3D Tendy game from late 90s, because they weren't early 3d/late 90s games, i would rather play and look at 2d snes/nes or a more refined 3d gamecube games than anything from N64.

Parasite Eve 1 mogged all tendy games from that era, but it also proves your point about nip games being better than western games, but there were outliners like Heroes of Might and magic, half life, Max Payne 1+2, Deus Ex 1, NOLF, Giants: Citizen Kabuto that are still very playable.

Most mainstream best seller western games aged like shit, for example GTA 3 and Morrowind are unplayable now.

Metroid prime is a dull marathon of backtracking. Very poorly designed game. F zero GX was made by Sega/Namco Japan? I don't think it was made by westerners.
