I'm not ugly, I'm tired of thinking of myself as ugly.
I'm not deformed, my face is symmetrical when it comes to bone structure, except for some minor details like a slight overbite and whatnot. Yeah sure I'm nothing to write home about, but I'm not hideous.
But the standards are too fucking high for males. Tiny little things that don't conform to a female's ideal man add up. We're only ugly cause we don't fit that archetype.
Really, none of my physical flaws should make me ugly, but they do because I don't fit the image of the stereotypical male.
Survival became so easy and comfortable in the latter half of the 20th century that even male looks became hyperinflated, everyone becoming obsessed with looks. The practical sex, the functional gender that never cared about such petty matters, was now judged according to feminine values.
I'm bald. So fucking what? Most males eventually bald. But society got so obsessed with looks that what was once something nobody gave a second thought, suddenly became a big fucking deal. You think peasants or soldiers in the 18th century gave a shit about being bald? Same with all my other fucking flaws. They're not really flaws, they're just not conforming to this hyperinflated obsession with looks in society. So I wear glasses, so fucking what? So I have blemishes on my skin. So my wrists and shoulders are tiny, so what? None of these things should make me ugly, but they do because standards for males have become so fucking rigid and high.
P.S: I find it funny how society thinks the exact opposite, that standards for females are high, which is ridiculous. Any 2/10 fat, hairy woman with an awful personality I've ever seen had a boyfriend.
