Shadow of Chernobyl GOG version is pretty based.

Call Of Chernobyl - Excellent for open world sessions.
Anomaly - Great atmosphere
Dead Air - Unpredictable.
Misery - For masochists who enjoy getting a mass whooping.

Plus, the addons for each mod.
All can be found at Moddb.com

Btw you need Pripyat in your computer for those overall standalone mods to work properly, just before installation and after first launch.
It is a basic requirement.
