The older I get, the more alien the present becomes and the more I obsessively think about the past. Old internet communities I used to post on that are either now ghost towns, have changed radically, or are just plain gone...mostly the latter. Old friends I haven't seen or talked to in 10, 15, even 20+ years. Online friends I used to have in the MSN messenger, YIM, and AIM days. Old internet culture...let me tell you zoomers, you have no idea what you missed out on. Not being in chronic pain from health problems for which there is no cure or effective treatment. Don't get me wrong, I understand there's the whole nostalgia goggles factor, but some shit was just better.

You youngcels will eventually go through this yourselves. An old person, especially an oldcel, is nothing but a bunch of memories. I know I already said this years ago, but no matter how much you think shit sucks now, there will come a time where you are nostalgic for this current time period.

Impossible. What ruined the internet is females. And this isn't just incel raging, it's actually true. The advent of the Smart/Iphone led to the internet, almost overnight, going from being male-dominated to being female-dominated. And females are monocultural, collectivist and incredibly repressive.
