I can't stand this job anymore. Arranging things at the store to be messed 10 mins laters, grabs return.. etc It's not productive. Not many people in my department and many work.The 8 hours go so slowly, when I have to put an item in it's place , i took the longest road . I forced my mind to work dumbly.
My iq might drop down when I leave this job
I was about to make this post on my break time. But before my break time this incident happens .
-This Russian old woman wanted a product, the label says 229$ but when I scanned it , it's 299$.I told her they changed the price and forgot to remove the label. She kept asking me why it showed 229$.
We agreed she can have it for 229$ , the display shows the product should be in position 4,but there's no label with position 4 ( it wasn't printed, I saw the other labels) .She kept telling me to search it. I had to scan all the barcode of the product's box to see if their position matched with the position of the display. There was none that matched it.
- she took two items and asked me if this is good for that (the other item)
I told her I've never used them, I can't give her any advice. She mentioned I don't understand her. I'm not American but she can't clearly express her ideas in English.
I asked her if she wants to know which one of the two items was better, she told no.
I asked her if she wanted to know if she could buy both she said no.
She kept telling: "is this( the first item) good for that (the other item) ?"
Finally I had to call my teamlead.
Overall I wasted almost one hour with someone who is very dumb.
Definitely I have to leave this job soon.
