That's why a fairytale is perfect as opposed to a novel. I can write ridiculous and unique things, with an abstract theme that may have been done before, but I still feel isn't too common.

what kind of folktale do you write

it will be about whether a human can change his nature, set in some greek mythology type of world. I'll set up a character to have a redemption arc only to crush it having him devolve back into what he was in the beginning.
