I already tried gymmaxxing and I don’t have the motivation for it.

Under 20 doesn't mean underweight. I want to be lean because it looks much more aesthetically pleasing and I can be comfortable taking my shirt off around others. I don't really care about being muscular.
You could start working out to gain muscle mass as you lose weight, otherwise you will end up skinny fat.
Cope, you'll just look like a subhuman Auschwitz prisoner. You need to bulk up and build muscle first. Besides, you're already underweight.
I already tried gymmaxxing and it's not worth the hastle put into it when I can look significantly better by just losing fat. I would need to work out consistently for years just for a small difference.
 
I'm currently about 170lbs at 6'0 with some muscle mass, working out about twice a week, and I'm planning on cutting down to 160lbs-155lbs. I don't really care about being overly muscular, I'll be happy enough to be lean with some visible muscle definition.

I would highly suggest you leanbulk like 10lbs, and then cut, otherwise by the time you get to a low body fat percentage you'll just look malnourished because of the lack of muscle mass.
 
That's really skinny. That will be more like Auschwitzmaxxing than leanmaxxing.
