Women don't really gotta worry about choosing a career that will give them good money because they can marry to a man who pays for their expenses, men don't have this privilege. Objectively women have more freedom when it comes to choosing what to study, no economic pressure (at least not as much as men) and they also get praised / extra opportunities for studying male dominated fields. No matter what they choose they'll have it better than men

The job market for physics used to be really good, nowadays it isn't that good but I feel thats every job. Only career that has a really good job market is engineering honestly and I don't wanna be an engineer. I mainly chose physics because I'm interested in it, I want to understand how the world works, it makes me feel excited for some reason lol and also the employment opportunities aint THAT bad, I know I will have a job, a good one isn't guaranteed though.

But yeah, I figured that I have no real good reason to drop out, uni is annoying af but its better than doing nothing. Yeah I totally get and respect that position. I'm not sure how old you are but as a young adult it's always nice to keep your options open, in case in future you need money for your aspirations/other stuff, you'll have it with the degree.

Im 18 and I agree, the degree will probably make my life easier if anything. Easier to comeback up on your feet with a degree than without it. Still a huge investment though, requires lots of time, energy and money.
