But the names have been released, as it happens:

MAHOMET, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign County Coroner identified the names of three family members who were killed in a shooting Wednesday night in Mahomet.

Coroner Laurie Brauer said Sara E. Mason, age 26, was pronounced dead at the scene in the 1100 block of Riverside Ct.

Janis L. Mason, age 61, and Caleb M. Mason, age 23, were both pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Carle Foundation Hospital, just after 10 p.m.

Meanwhile the killer is named John R. Lyons.

So it's not "his" family, but three "family members"

John R. Lyons threw his life away in order to murder the Mason family, whom he had personal history/issues with. He killed three of them -- his primary target being Caleb Mason.

Sara Mason posted this on Twitter shortly before she, her brother, and her mother were killed by John Lyons:

John then drove back towards his home and decided to murder Nick Fuentes as a sort of last stand. He may have known that NIck was currently doing a livestream, but seemingly had no plan to break into the house if Nick didn't answer the door. He instead broke into a neighboring house while fleeing from responding police, and tried to kill the owners. He only succeeded in killing their dogs.
