Here's a good comparison. Normie "depression" is like someone who broke their arm. Not a good experience of course but you know eventually it will heal and you also have something to look forward to help feel better, resuming a happy and normal life. Depression for incels is like a terminal disease or a disability. There is no better life to look forward to and the only thing you can do is learn to cope with it or delude yourself that you have as good of a life as the normal people around you.
