If I were a billionaire in 2003, I would probably be friends with Epstein. It would be unusual not to be in a way. It's a billionaire thing to do. I feel like hanging out with him is a right of passage, and to be totally honest, since I am a billionaire, I wouldn't even need him for the whores or weird sex shit, but I am interested in the networking amongst other billionaires. It would feel like the other billionaires could possibly conspire against me if I don't at least know of them and how they think. It's probably tricky to be a billionaire in a vacuum, you have to do billionaire shit to stay a billionaire just like how a middle class person has to file their taxes, or visit their family once in a while to stay relevant. I'm just there for the billionaire gossip. My pet theory is that they were all willing and knew they were being surveilled because they made a pact. We do the same thing to some extent.
