That's probably one of the main reasons I don't do it. Sure, the fact that I'm the laziest man alive is another reason, but that's beside the point.

Going to the gym is an effort. It's dedication. It's a lot of time and pain to gain minimal results. And that would be absolutely worth it, if it were like a game and you got to keep all your progress eternally. But no, a few months after and you look like shit.

Even pro bodybuilders who looked like beasts, just a year after retiring and they look like a slightly fatter and bulkier normie.

Why is everything in this damn life just so fucking hard? What is this, nightmare difficulty new game+ modded for extra difficulty?

Objectively false. Strength gains take a long time to disappear, size gains even longer. If anything, stopping the lift as a fit male makes you look better in clothes because the fat on your arms actually makes you look bigger

Cope if you think Chad's natural muscly body even requires gymceling.

Chad cant gymcel, he simply gyms, or goes to the gym.

Also gymcelling helps makes LDAR even better when your resting up

it usually takes over a month for me to lose my muscle density from gymcelling

Not really you’d have to start eating pretty shit . If you do minimal work outs and just maybe an hour or 2 isn’t that big of a difference. I understand life comes up and you won’t be able to dedicate the same amount of time anymore tho.

if you've gained a good amount of muscle mass it will take 2+ months until 50% is gone. (at least for me) You can gain it all back within a month, due to muscle memory.

This. You might not end up like the hulk, even chads need 1-2 years to get there, but even the lowest T dude who’s nonhandicapped has over 5x (conservative estimate- average is 12x-17x) the testosterone of a girl and can get fit with only moderate effort.

You probably won’t end up aesthetic, but that’s no reason to turn away from one of the best copes in your arsenal. And that’s worse case scenario. Some of you can’t visually project for shit and call yourselves framecels or heightcels to hide from the fact that you never even tried for an extended period of time.

Not how it works at all. I wont get into the physiology, but it takes a quite some time for muscle to atrophy from just the variable of quitting weight training. Lifestyle and diet play roles obviously. I stopped lifting last October and i still have clear definition, and have retained some size. Sure, im not 180 lbs at 13% bodyfat anymore, but i still look fit and muscular. Genetic make-up of muscle fiber types matter, too.

You never worked out in your whole life right?
I started gymcelling at 14 and quit at 18 when I got more serious in academics. Barely even gained any muscle at all. Chads end puberty with their natural 6 pack and 15 inch biceps but I got literally no gains in 4 years.

I can go months (assuming I'm not eating a lot of fatty foods) without going to the gym and not lose a lot of muscle mass

You were likely doing something wrong, then. You need to be genetic syndrome levels of bad to be incapable of gaining muscle as a male, and I don’t use the former expression in jest. Also the ability to gain in your 20s and 30s >>> the ability to gain in your teens.

I’d give it a second shot. What do you have to lose?

No gym for your face
No gym for your height
No gym for your hair

gym will never solve inceldom. You will only waste your time growing your biceps a few inches only to realize that it's fucking useless

most low IQ thread of the month.

As others have said, this is objectively wrong. If you work out for long enough you will have a (in lieu of some crazy accident) base layer of muscle that will stick around until you get really old. Gymcelling is like the only thing that keeps me sane any more though, its the one thing where I feel like I'm making progress in my life. I don't understand how some of you can just go without it without wanting to rope 24/7

Why do you assume we don't want to rope 24/7?

It took me 2,5 months to loose everything after stopping gym. Now i will never stop again, even if i don't have money i will train at home and run outside.

I mean I want to rope most of the time too but when I'm at the gym I feel like there is at least something I'm doing right with my life. At least as long as I go super late at night when all the chads aren't there giving me sideways looks.

Well, this is what I mean, and people in this thread call me stupid. 2.5 months isn't a long period of time, and all the effort was in vain. That's exactly what I was complaining about like a bitch in my post.

You won't lose muscle, you will just gain tons of fat on top of it.

Do you at least have a lot of muscle now? I went to the gym for 4 months when I was in highschool and I gained literally 0 muscle, and I didn't just sit around at the gym. Couldn't even do a pull-up by the end of it unfortunately.

Do you know what is muscle memory bro ?

If you stop gym and train at home or run outside you can prevent it. Nooot that much but it helps a bit. At least you won't gain weight.

When a movement is repeated over time, a long-term muscle memory is created for that task, eventually allowing it to be performed without conscious effort. Nothing to do with gaining mass back quickly or retaining it.

I've been lifting since I was 14 so I have quite a bit of muscle mass. But as it was said earlier in the thread, lifting can't fix your bone structure so all if it is for naught at least in an attraction sense.

Is it noticeable? Like, let's say you walk into a room full of strangers. Do they at least think "well, that guy obviously works out". Or do you gotta work on your pump and really flex to show your muscle?

Every good thing in life is fleeting. Hard work in anything is not a long term investment, it’s a shot term investment with a long payback time for a short-lived period of satisfaction.

4 months are not enough time bro

Mantaining muscle is not hard. 1 set per body part per day would be enough. This is like what, 30 minutes every day? That's nothing. The problem is getting there. It takes years to build a decent body for the average person.

I notice people don't make nearly as much fun of me as they would if I were a lot smaller. I was "blessed" with decent height stats too so people really can't play it off as manlet compensation which is nice. Most people generally just seem afraid of me like I'm some kind of ogre which is actually quite entertaining sometimes lmao.

I had to stop gymcelling for a long period.I felt like ı lost all of my gain but it is not.if you not gymcelling do push ups at least and be careful with what you eat.when ı come back to gym,ı realized ı'm stronger

Ogre isn't a bad thing to be. I'm more of a fat goblin if that's any consolation.

Wouldn’t say all for naught. Barring obvious deformities, anyone can be at least a 5/10 with a year of gym + proper grooming.

The problem is I have obvious deformities. I have zero forward growth on my face and I have a genetic skin condition that makes it look like Im going to burst pus over people at any given moment. If people could look past that I do probably have like an 8/10 body from all the work I've put into it.

Fuck man, sorry to hear.

Eh I was given amazing height and frame so at least I'm not bullied daily. But that;s why we're here right? Genetics/society fucked us all.

body builders lose their gains fast because they use tons of substances instead of building a more natural way

I started off not being able to do more than a couple pull ups, and now I'm up to 20. Buy a pull up bar and start off with chin ups as they're much easier. Start doing push ups, dips on the kitchen counter and a ton of other body weight exercies. I hate going to gyms since I've always been anxious around people so i only workout at home and I've seen huge gains. Eventually when you build a little strength its advisable to start lifting. Its crazy how much more distance and respect people give you when you're jacked.

Preach. Calisthenics has given us one of the most godly looksmaxx heroes of all time— Frank medrano

Edit: most of his exercises are weighted versions of bodyweight excercises. You can’t get that big on weight alone. Highly recommend this time of training to framecels supplemented with upper back, chest, + delts. Produces better results than standard lifts due it working a ton of accessory muscles and core free weights will not. Tl; dr - calisthenics for overall strength with weights on chest, delts, and back (esp. upper back) as spot checks.

Look at frank pre-looksmaxx. He was easily incel status with bad height, cheekbones, and frame.

If you want you can even add on a weight vest or belt to increase strength. Plus almost no risk of injury. You don't need any equipment and you don't need to wait for dudes to finish their sets at the gym.

Lol are you and me the same person? I gymcelled in exactly same age 14 to 18 but stopped only because I was tired of that. I gain few kilos sure, but I was still weak and slim. There was barely and progress at all, and I had experienced people helping me. It seemed like slowly my strength was increasing because every few month I could lift a little bit more but honestly it was mostly because my technique was improving, so do my willpower. Everything seemed just as heavy all the time, it's just that I could lift more because I tried harder and harder. Now I'm training like once a week for an hour to hour and half just to destress and 15-20 minutes of some basic exercises just to feel better. I know if I trained heavily for a few years I maybe could gain a few kilos and be 10-20% stronger, but seriously it's worthless for me. I see people have bigger gains after a month that I did in 4 years.

Possibly. Are you also an overweight STEMcel?
