I often think about this. Those who have read my posts know about my mood fluctuations. I am in perpetual amazement as to the extent to which the principles I consider core to my character are altered dependent upon whether I’m feeling up or down, it has lead to the belief in me that our moral frameworks and motivations are dictated by factors beyond our control, which is why I often stress of the redundancy of affording blame to individuals for their inconsistent beliefs and moral incentives.

When I am feeling down, I almost lose the ability to feel empathy, and although I wouldn’t go as far as to say I consistently delight in seeing suffering in others, (though I will shamefully concede this is somethings the case) I genuinely know that with the onset of that encroaching malaise, I would be indifferent to the destruction of the planet and everyone on it, and at my lowest am, at times, willing it’s advent on in the same vein as the Jehovah’s witnesses - though without the nonsensensical metaphysical connotation.

Would you destroy the world and everyone in it if you were given the chance?

If yes, please specify bellow whether it is because you want to see specific people (your bullies, ex oneitises etc.) destroyed and are willing to sacrifice yourself for this cause, or whether you just hate the human condition and the cruelty of nature and want to see it wiped from existence. Any other possible motivations are welcome to be posted as well.

even though it would make all the chads and stacy's pay, i wouldnt want my fellow incel brethren to suffer either.

If the american empire doesn't die in my lifetime, yes.

Propably i would press the button and shout : Goodbye, miserable planet !!!

They wouldn’t necessarily suffer if a cataclysmic event were to take place, like a gargantuan meteor.

Are you from there?

i would take the button and threaten to press it if foids didn't grovel to me. I would blackmail the world and make the button a dead-man's trigger so nobody could kill me.

I voted three. The latter.

There's so much pain and suffering in the world you are self centered if you DO'NT destroy it. The fact that torture even exists is enough of an excuse to blow it the fuck away. No matter what, there's always some creature whos life is hell on Earth. Its about time we destroyed the hell planet.

Without a second hesitation to be honest.

High IQ.

Not destroying it would amount to be the most wicked person history, Hitler would be a philantrope compared to the person who refused.

I know what you mean, I often wonder if the presence of suffering within creation justifies the rest of creation that everyone apparently considers so beautiful.
You clearly haven’t taken your Ritalin today buddy, because you typed ‘yes’ but clicked ‘no’ in the poll, haha

Too high inhib, but make one just for the normies and I wouldn't hesitate.

I would rather go ER tbh

It would be the ultimate ER

This.

It’s time to lead the world into a new ERa

We wouldn't suffer if we were dead.
I would destroy this world in a heartbeat. If I could make everything vanish in a second I would do it. Fuck this gay earth.

What you write on the effects of mood on ideas and values is accurate. Depression tends to completely destroy altruism and empathy, or at least it changes them into the twisted form of "everybody would be happier dead".

Contrary to conservative / anti-materialistic delusions, neurotransmitters alter ideas and principles as much as "free will" if not more. Spooky how changing concentrations of molecules in synapses can completely change your personality. From experience, the biopsychiatry hypothesis is the valid one: you are your serotonin / dopamine / whtv.

This is precisely what I have been lead to believe! Not through personal research, but from personal experience. Perhaps you could enlighten me with some scientific literature on the subject? - as I am yet to find any.

When I was in my teens I developed a fascination with serial killers. I was totally awestruck by how these people were not only incapable of feeling empathy, but had developed a pathological desire to inflict suffering. It doesn’t make sense to someone with a normal mind, but to someone who has experienced severe depression, it does. Once one understands that these killers, by and large, had scarcely felt any cognitive experience that wasn’t depression and suffering from the moment their young minds had developed self-awareness, it seems an inevitability rather than a possibility that they would develop feelings of psychopathy eventually. In light of this, it is a marvel that any children who were mistreated can grow into morally coherent adults.

It is mainly for this reason that I believe prison systems which are geared towards punishment to be morally unjustifiable. We are in many cases punishing people precisely because they were developmentally stunted as children, rather than spite of the fact they were.

I came to believe it out of personal experience too. The differences in my personality based on mood have been incredible. What was even more remarkable is that being aware of it couldn't change anything: the more I resisted "dark" ideas, the more they exerted their will of domination on my neurons. At some point, I attempted to cope for my depression with Christianity. But instead of feeling better, I merely had visions of heretics slashed into pieces, burned on pyres or being tortured in the afterlife. I was also convinced that I was already too far gone and that God hated me. Depression can even ruin "souls".

They are morally unjustifiable but they make sense to normies. Very few people come to experience psych trauma or dysthymia in their life, so they can't understand "evil" people and come to the conclusion they're being mean on purpose.

If I thought the world was real, yes. 10 years ago I postulated that, if you had 100 people living it up on a yacht and 1 child starving on a nearby liferaft, it would not be worth it. In other words, no amount of pleasure makes intense pain worth it and it would be best if earth did not exist. If anybody disagrees with this they are evil, but normies teehee and feel glee at it! I believe this world isnt entirely real. Normies would laugh at tortured children in a social climate that allowed it (soon to be ours at this rate) and also feel proud of themselves for being higher status than the tortured children, ESPECIALLY if it wad cast/birth based and they did not earn it.

Meanwhile, whores on instagram write 'satan is my daddy' and openly profess to loving men/women who torture others.

I'd go on a raping spree first and then press it.

If it'll bring me fast and painless suicide along with it, yes.

Total destruction and annihilation is the only solution

Imagine if the nuclear codes were hack-able. An incel would definitely hack them eventually.

If i can watch the normies burn in agony, yes

How incredibly interesting. Religion is extremely powerful, it has the ability to produce acts of great evil, though acts of great kindness as well. I think that religion is best kept away from internally conflicted people for the reason you mentioned. Someone who bitterly hates the world and their own place within it is better off seeing reality for what it is in my opinion. Once you start to look at the world through the lense of metaphysical or teleological reasoning then its injustice and unfairness will make even less sense, which only adds fuel to the flames of one’s inner-conflict and self-doubt, even engendering or amplifying a penchant for cruelty within the person.

It comes as such a strange realisation to come to terms with the fact that people are not to blame for their own morality, or lack thereof. It is one of those lessons you can never really apply practically to your life, for no matter how hard you try to rationalise others’ cruelty, your basic instincts will always provoke the sentiment of blame and hatred within you to some extent (though ego death can mitigate this effect.)

It's something I've thought about a lot. And I'd do it any time, instantly.

Sometimes I'd want to, sometimes I wouldn't. IDK.

I have had feelings like this for a long time too. If pleasure and happiness is a ten storey building, then pain and suffering are a bottomless pit. There really isn’t a limit on how bad things can get for you, and some for people they have. The only thing we can put our faith in is progress as a species, and we most hope that with advancements in technology we can bring about advancements in ethics and modes of being as well.

I actually became fascinated with evidence of cruelty and evil in Christianity instead of seeing it as a source of good. I used to read wikipedia articles about wars against "heretics" that were particularly insane and violent, and confront a Christian female friend about it. Ultimately she told me to just shut up about it lol

When you think about it, the dualist heretics Christianity fought against for so long (Cathars, Bogomils, manicheans, marcionists) were kind of "blackpilled" or depressed in a way: hatred of sex and reproduction, view of the planet as an evil place, etc

Since hearing about those conflicts, my opinion of Christianity has switched from "it's great" to "yet another normie ideology to stigmatize people on the fringe"

I dont mind dying, but Id want to take everyone with me... Or at least get to WATCH to destruction while I go, and KNOW that its over for everyone else as well.. Misery loves company they say

Yes 100%, wouldn't even hesitate, this species is not worth a fuck anyway.

In the past, I would be a libertarian whenever I was feeling good and a fascist whenever I was feeling bad.

Now I am a fascist whenever I am feeling good and a libertarian whenever I am feeling bad.

Indeed, dualistic Gnosticism has a firmer hand on reality than feel-good-for-no-reason Christianity. I have never understood why we must thank the Lord for living even if we hate our lives, especially in light of some of the horrific living conditions suffered by humanity throughout the ages. Were you raised religious, or did you discover it on your own out of desperation?

The Jesus of the Bible yes, but this was not the true Jesus unfortunately. The early gospels (before Christianity had spread far from its original birthplace) show that Jesus did not care for the world at large, and merely intended to restore sovereignty of Jerusalem to the Jews as it had been annexed by Rome. He saw himself as a messiah for the Jewish people, and did not care for gentiles, once even comparing them to dogs.

Without a moment’s hesitation.

Quite the contrary. All the evidence points to him being a Palestinian frustrated by the Khazarian, Jewish occupiers. Even so, what you said has no pop evidence and my dad is a professor of Church History so I am very knowledgeable about it. That said, whoever wrote the New Testament was a genius and it had to come from somewhere. 'Then render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God, what is God's!' Epic shit and basically the line that got him crucified (which we forget is horrible torture).
