THE RAPE OF NANKING
During WW2, Imperial Japan invaded the, at the time, capital of China, Nanking.
After easily overpowering Chinese forces, (who ironically surrendered because they thought they were going to be well treated by the Japanese invaders) the japanese laid siege to the city for what would be 6 weeks of hell for the defenseless Chinese inhabitants.
Left to freely roam the city, the frustrated Japanese soldiers committed all the atrocities they desired.
Among these were:
LIVE BAYONET TARGET PRACTICE USING LIVING CHINESE CITIZENS
LARGE SCALE RAPE AND OTHER FORCEFULL SEX ACTS
MASS BEHEADINGS AND OTHER FORMS OF MASS EXECUTION INCLUDING BURNING PEOPLE ALIVE
Racism (even though they all look the same), shintoism and the long duration of (what the Japanese thought) was going to be a quick and easy war all contributed to the occurrence of this massacre.
BUT what I want to highlight is that, unlike Germany, Italy, France and England, young Japanese soldiers endured an extremely heavy school life (as they do to this day) where they spent almost every hour of every day either studying or sleeping.
This was exacerbated once they started their military careers at a young age.
Unlike other countries, the young Japanese had their youth robbed from them and many of them were probably still virgins when they got sent off to war.
In America, England, Germany, there is the common wartime depiction of the young girl waving her white handkerchief, saying goodbye to her boyfriend whos going to war.
The Nanking massacre is what happened when an army of incels with no care for human life were left to ravage a city.
But sex isn't important, right guys?
