Anyone who is near her experiences traumatizing nightmarish visions and she can’t control that or help it, so no one wanted to be around her. But what nightmarish vision could be worse than my face? A face that I have to see every day in the mirror.
I’d imagine she’d be pretty easy to manipulate and sweet talk into a relationship due to everyone hating her. If she had lived, she would be guaranteed a life of debilitating isolation.
This doesn’t mean she’d actually love you, since women can’t love ugly men. But she’d be desperate for any living human that shows anything other than repulsion and fear towards her.
Realistically this is probably as close as it gets to an actual femcel in fiction. But it’s solely due to Samara’s visions and nothing else.
