realistically, if you're an ethnic (whites have more strenght on average) then the best thing you can do is to go to gym on your first day and try to bench press 80kg or 70kg and if you can't do that then it's totally pointless to continue on gymceiling since you have shit tier genetics.

the average western white man can probably bench press 80kg, deadlift 100kg and probably squat like 100kg.

i will start gymceiling but if i can do these stats on the first day i would just quit.

Sounds hyperbolic but OP has a pretty good point. Your payoff in the gym is largely determined by genetics: bigger bones get bigger muscles and bigger numbers with less effort and injury. A 125 lb man of world-class elite-level strength in his weight class would still lose to a intermediate-level 165 lb man.

Most start somewhere around 30-50 with bench unless they have big frames. If we are talking about complete beginners

I think the average guy as a beginner probably deadlifts their own weight
 
Avg white for sure cannot bench 80. Where you start doesn’t matter too much, a better sign of genetics is how quick you progress strength wise. There are plenty of very strong lifters who started out shit.

I have terrible genetics, I couldn't bench 30 or 40kg even once. I don't remember which one of those two weights it was, but either way it's terrible. I did 100kg a year later after gymcelling and eating more, which isn't much either but considering chest was always my weakest muscle group, I think it's decent progress. And I also never seriously injured myself except for my lower back for a few weeks after deadlifting with poor technique or when I dropped a 15kg plate on my toe jfl

And most guys will lie in the internet about anything. Even in anonymous studies men will lie about their penis size, their income, how much they bench, how many girls they've been with etc
 
Lol, some guys can deadlift 100kg as noobs, but 80kg benchpress as a noob, forget about it. Unless you were a competitive gymnast in school, then maybe.

I have bone pain every time I lift a 10kg dumbbell.
If you have such thin bones you can forget weight training.

I'd say in europe the average 1rep max bench is maybe 50kg, in the US maybe 60kg. Because they're fatter and have more sports that are focused around being strong. Although that would be the average, which takes those into account who have gymcelled in the past.
Squat maybe 60-80kg
Deadlift 80-100kg
Those are just my estimates. But I'm pretty sure the average guy can bench significantly more than 30kg, as even my lanklet brother could do that on his first try.
