No matter what it is every time I see stats or graphs I just don't believe it.

There is basically nothing stopping the people who make them to be bias and funded to lie.

Statistics and graphs can be good indicators of general tendencies, as long as you don't take them for the absolute truth and if you add nuance to it

They don't even have to lie about the data. There are 100 other ways to fudge the results.
