you're equating bad and good morals with bad and good feelings. ofc i'm not gonna let you torture me to death because it harms ME. it hurts me so I don't like it but it isn't immoral. if you kill harm some stranger I could care less, if you harm me, I will defend myself and make you face reprecussions. what is good is what benefits you, what is bad is what sets you back in any way, shape or form.

I wouldn't say that my statement has anything to do with morals/ethics. Like I don't judge one to be good/evil based on how they treat me, I judge them to be pleasant/harmful. I don't need to tolerate people who may cause me harm.
