It all comes down to women as usual; if there were no women in the workplace none of this would be an issue and men would be hired/promoted based on skills alone. Only way to escape this is going into a male dominated profession.

You can’t deny it is taken into account but at the end of the day the boss wants the most productive workers. Chad is viewed as productive because their integration into the social structure ensures stability and every employee being happier and more productive. Uncles reduce productivity because coworkers distrust them, creating instability and preventing cooperation. If your talents outweigh your detriments though, you can very well still be hired. You just have a higher bar.

ugly-average men live life on dark souls difficulty. you could have 4.0 gpa all throughout college, have experience in your field and everything, they'll still take the stacy who barely meets the criteria over you. it's beyond fucked.
