Deny the Chinese from being able to freely operate above or near proximity of Taiwan airspace.
This way, they're are unable to bomb the Taiwanese into submission.

Only thing you really have to worry about is missiles, US will most likely supply Taiwan with capabilities to counter those threats as well.

If they manage to do that all that, this conflict will drag on for a long time, and it will be just like Gaza

Thing is Taiwan is a super industrialized extremely developed country
