Probably true, we know Microsoft is planning some form of console/PC/handhold hybrid.
My guess is Microsoft will force new games to work on all their platforms and fit Game Pass into one monthly plan where you will love never owning anything, and kill older games that lack compatibility and (((licensing))) which they've already shown they don't care about.

Buying pre-owned physical mogs waiting 2 years for a game you want to be discounted. Plus pre-owned is cheaper 99% of the time compared to digital, and you actually own it physically rather than through some site that can take all your games away when you say "nigger."
