If I were surrounded by other autists and not NTs, would I actually be able to socialize and not be overshadowed?

It’s more than only looks with this because even NT ugly guys that I even mog easily overshadow me and take the attention. I always end up at the lowest social status no matter the situation. You have no idea how frustrating it is to see someone who should be subhuman status overshadow you.

Would things be different had I had been surrounded by autists growing up? I noticed in a class where I was with other autists I wasn’t as overshadowed and my voice was actually heard. With NTs I’m always ignored and overshadowed.
