Instead most games are still limited to the archaic weak attack, strong attack, combo, blah blah blah. Skyward Sword HD mapped motion controls to the second stick so there's not even an excuse outside of laziness.
That game was pretty hated by 4chan incels, but it was a fun game to me, remove the Imprissoned boss and its perfect.

Skyward Sword cut the fluff out. The "open worlds" in previous Zelda games were padding. Skyward Sword's open world being a giant dungeon was an improvement over Twilight Princess's giant empty fields.
4chan users would prefer that the game have muh freedom where they walk in an empty field for five minutes before coming upon a mediocre dungeon
Skyward sword was literally cinema. Literally. Game was just like a musical.
Twilight princess had more moves. Skyward sword had more control over the few moves you had.
