There's no easy way to do it. I remember when I first went out with intention of doing approaches, but it felt like there was an invisible brink wall blocking me from doing it. I just couldn't bring myself to do it at all. But eventually, after going out many times and not doing it, I managed to do an approach for the first time, pushing myself so far out of my comfort zone in the process, and it was such a rewarding feeling that it motivated me to do it again. Now, many approaches later, my inhibition is low.
