I wish I could create something that I could be proud of, whether that be music, art, writing, a business or whatever

But that desire to create gets crushed so early on in your life when you're subhuman, and you become completely demoralised

It feels like when you're subhuman, you're destined for a life of consoomerism, escapism and rotting

Not to mention you often lack talent when you're genetically inferior. when it rains, it pours

I feel like such a low frequency being only consuming, and not creating anything, but it seems like putting in effort is ultimately pointless for us

It lowk pains me whenever I see females or above average males creating anything, they have such a sense of superiority. Of course you'll want to put in effort when your life is inherently rewarding, when your life is worth it

I am still young though, so I still have the opportunity to build something. I'll maybe start learning to edit videos or start drawing. Even if I rope, I'll want to leave something of substance behind

This is a benefit of being NEET, I feel you can partially regain that desire to create when you aren't having your soul crushed each day

Does anyone here have any hobbies or skills they've developed? How do you manage to cope and pursue them instead of rotting?

I've got some hobbies but I just haven't had the willpower to do shit in weeks

same i wish i could create something but i just cannot enjoy it cuz of how shit it is and would'nt meet my expectations

The desire to create, to produce something meaningful, is something I can strongly relate to, but unfortunately, I do not possess any skills or talent that would allow me to create anything substantial; I am a useless subhuman.

I cannot create, only destroy.

You should absolutely keep pursuing what you're interested in, even if you have a long way to go in developing your skills. I read a book once, Pre-Suasion by Robert Cialdini, which was mostly about social manipulation, but it also talked about what drives people to do things, so it's relevant in self-reflection as well. One of the biggest motivators in life is a feeling of unfinished business, going back to that thing you've often been curious about but never mastered. You could think of it like leveling up in a game then returning to a point where you failed before to see if you can take it on. So you should dip your toes in what you're interested in. Go as far as you can, and even if it doesn't work out for you this year, next year or maybe some more years after, that desire will come back to you, stronger, and you can tackle it again.
