In the show (Anne with an E), she hits him across the face and it's more dramatic, tense, and very well-acted. This is way better than the anime version and the 1985 version, TBH.

I've been watching it back when it was just Anne (they only added w/anE in s2) and I like both and see no need to rank them.

Hard to say, tbh still haven't gotten around to reading Maud's books so I don't know the terms the author describes her in.

He was only Chad in the books and in the anime. The 2017 version makes him look like an HTN/sub-Chadlite dude.

They prob did that to make him less innately hated tho I expect like with Daniel Radcliffe they're scouting him to grow to be better looking as adult if they bring back later seasons
