There is a gene editing method called CRISPR-Cas9. I wish it was legal to do on humans so that I could cure my autism. I wouldn’t mind being experimented on. Of course, there would be a risk that I could die. But I’d gladly take that risk. Imagine a life without autism. I would be able to talk to people. I would have friends. Maybe I would even have a girlfriend, who knows.

My entire life would’ve been different if I wasn’t born with autism. I would’ve never been bullied during middle school. I would’ve never suffered from severe social anxiety. I would’ve never wasted my teenage years by being socially isolated. My family and relatives wouldn’t have disowned me. I would’ve been normal like everyone else.
