Theory I wish at least some things would just "happen"

It doesn't have to be everything but... it's like if I don't do anything absolutely nothing happens. So there's no feeling of magic or inevitability or purpose.

I don't know if that makes sense.

Maybe if I just got the ball rolling by putting a bunch of people in my life, that would create a chain reaction of meeting new people which would create that feeling of things just happening at least a bit.

When you're a kid everything just happens. As a young adult some things still do. But as you get older you just have fewer family and things around to make things happen.

I guess it's not as bad for women because they get a lot of attention. Men give them all kinds of opportunities that they can take without them having to do anything.

Anyway yeah that's about it. Life in this society is too DIY!

basically the conversation will get killed immediately if they aren't familiar with something you just said, so conversation doesn't work at all unless you are literally the same person with literally the same thoughts at all times

To be honest I mean, life wasn't always like this. In a tribe you were given a role and you had people around you already.
