I woke up to a never-ending call (for some reason I woke up in my own tears but I don't think I dreamt) and it claimed to be my exact phone provider nagging the hell out of my sleepy ass, now that I think about it it should've been OBVIOUS how fake the scammer was because it didn't even know how to access my phone provider contract through just my number; they claimed they was giving me a 50% discount and I was about to give the reset password code when I clocked it...
The caller sounds WAY too indian for a UK-based company, she barely could fucking speak without the heavy accent, and why tf do i need to reset my password?
I stalled and looked up the phone number 02039839491 online, AND ITS A FUCKING KNOWN SCAM! Even if it wasn't I wouldve done the same thing, I told her to shut the fuck up, and after arguing for a bit on how she was obviously indian calling from a broken down scam centre in mumbai with how echo-y it was, I hanged up the call. Had the gall to try to call multiple times again too and leave voicemails, TOTAL SCAMMER DEATH!
When I look at the email I was sent by her it was the wrong domain, if I was a bit sleepier I would've genuinely got completely scammed.
I was already feeling insanely depressed before this call waking up but atleast it did cheer me up a bit
hearing her trying to come up with all sorts of excuses was funny asf
